DAILY
PRAYER
MORNING:
Start by making the sign of the Cross:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit. Amen.
My God, with all my heart, I
want above all things, to love You.
Jesus you are infinite good and our eternal happiness,
and for your sake I love my neighbor as myself
and forgive offenses received.
Oh Lord, may I love you more and more.
Our
Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy Will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Hail,
Mary, full of grace,
the Lord
is with thee.
Blessed
art thou among women
and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for
us sinners,
now and at
the hour of our death.
Amen.
O Heavenly Father,
in the name of Jesus Christ,
I renounce Satan, all his works, and all his empty
promises.
I reject the evil one and all his lies.
I refuse to be enslaved by sin, temptation, or any form of
evil.
By the power of the Holy Spirit, I claim the victory of
Christ over the forces of darkness.
I ask for the protection of the Precious Blood of Jesus,
and the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and all
the angels and saints.
Jesus, you are my Lord and Savior; I entrust my life to
you.
Fill me with your grace, peace, and strength.
Amen.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our
defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince
of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into
hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the
world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
End by making the sign of the Cross:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit. Amen.
NOON:
Start by making the sign of the
Cross:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of
the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Proverbs 30:7-9 (KJV)
7 Two things
have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:
8
Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither
poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
9 Lest I be
full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I
be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
Psalm 148 (Berean Standard Bible)
1
Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise Him
in the highest places.
2
Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His heavenly
hosts.
3
Praise Him, O sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining
stars.
4
Praise Him, O highest heavens, and you waters above the
skies.
5 Let
them praise the name of the LORD, for He gave the command
and they were created.
6 He
established them forever and ever; He issued a decree that
will never pass away.
7
Praise the LORD from the earth, all great sea creatures
and ocean depths,
8
lightning and hail, snow and clouds, powerful wind
fulfilling His word,
9
mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,
10 wild
animals and all cattle, crawling creatures and flying
birds,
11 kings of
the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the
earth,
12 young men
and maidens, old and young together.
13 Let them
praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is
exalted; His splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 He has
raised up a horn for His people, the praise of all His
saints, of Israel, a people near to Him. Hallelujah!
Repentance is not a change in our behavior. Repentance is
a change in our mind, our heart, and our purpose. The
change in our behavior is the fruit of true repentance,
but it is not repentance itself. John the Baptist makes
this distinction when he tells the Pharisees and
Sadducees, “Therefore, produce fruit consistent with
repentance”. Intellectually, you now view sin as God views
sin. It is not merely a mistake or a bad habit. It is evil
and rebellion against God. Emotionally, you feel the
weight of this new understanding. You are filled with
sorrow over your sin, and you hate the sin you once loved.
Volitionally, you set out with a new purpose. You turn
away from your pursuit of sin and turn toward God as your
new greatest desire.
James 1:5-8 (New Living
Translation)
5 If you
need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to
you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
6 But when
you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do
not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as
unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by
the wind.
7 Such
people should not expect to receive anything from the
Lord.
8 Their
loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are
unstable in everything they do.
Psalm 24 (Douay-Rheims 1899
American Edition)
Unto the end, a psalm for David.
1
To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.
2
In thee, O my God, I put my trust; let me not be ashamed.
3
Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that
wait on thee shall be confounded.
4
Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without
cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy
paths.
5
Direct me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art God my
Saviour; and on thee have I waited all the day long.
6
Remember, O Lord, thy bowels of compassion; and thy
mercies that are from the beginning of the world.
7
The sins of my youth and my ignorances do not remember.
According to thy mercy remember thou me: for thy goodness'
sake, O Lord.
8
The Lord is sweet and righteous: therefore he will give a
law to sinners in the way.
9
He will guide the mild in judgment: he will teach the meek
his ways.
10
All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to them that
seek after his covenant and his testimonies.
11
For thy name's sake, O Lord, thou wilt pardon my sin: for
it is great.
12
Who is the man that feareth the Lord? He hath appointed
him a law in the way he hath chosen.
13
His soul shall dwell in good things: and his seed shall
inherit the land.
14 The Lord
is a firmament to them that fear him: and his covenant
shall be made manifest to them.
15
My eyes are ever towards the Lord: for he shall pluck my
feet out of the snare.
16
Look thou upon me, and have mercy on me; for I am alone
and poor.
17
The troubles of my heart are multiplied: deliver me from
my necessities.
18
See my abjection and my labour; and forgive me all my
sins.
19
Consider my enemies for they are multiplied, and have
hated me with an unjust hatred.
20
Keep thou my soul, and deliver me: I shall not be ashamed,
for I have hoped in thee.
21
The innocent and the upright have adhered to me: because I
have waited on thee.
22
Deliver Israel, O God, from all his tribulations.
Hebrews
13:5&6 (New King James
Version)
5 Let
your conduct be without covetousness; be content with
such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I
will never leave you nor forsake you.”
6 So we
may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not
fear. What can man do to me?”
End by making the sign of the Cross:
In the name of the Father, and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
NIGHT:
Start by making the sign of the
Cross:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Psalm 4:8
(New King James Version)
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O
LORD, make me dwell in safety.
Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee,
and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishments,
but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art
all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve,
with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more and to avoid
the near occasions of sin.
Amen.
The Guardian Angel Prayer
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits
me here, ever this night be at my side, to light and
guard, to rule and guide.
Amen.
Magnificat
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit
rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked with favor on
his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call
me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and
holy is his Name. He has mercy on those who fear him in
every generation. He has shown the strength of his arm, he
has scattered the proud in their conceit. He has cast down
the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the
lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the
rich he has sent away empty. He has come to the help of
his servant Israel for he has remembered his promise of
mercy, the promise he made to our fathers, to Abraham and
his children forever.
Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
Amen.
Jesus, tender Shepherd, hear me. Bless this little lamb
tonight. Through the darkness be near me. Keep me safe
till morning light.
Amen
Lord Jesus, I surrender myself to you. Take care of
everything in my life. I trust in your mercy and love.
Guide my dreams and refresh my spirit, That I may rise to
serve you anew tomorrow.
Amen.
Lord Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit, go back
into my memory as I sleep. Every hurt that has ever been
done to me, heal the hurt. Every hurt that I have ever
caused another person, heal that hurt. All the
relationships that have been damaged in my whole life that
I am not aware of, heal those relationships. But, Lord, if
there is anything that I need to do, If I need to go to a
person because he or she is still suffering from my hand,
bring to my awareness that person, I choose to forgive,
and I ask to be forgiven. Remove whatever bitterness may
be in my heart, Lord, and fill the empty spaces with your
love.
Amen.
The Anima Christi
Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me. Water from the side of
Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. O good
Jesus, hear me. Within Thy wounds hide me. Suffer me not
to be separated from Thee. From the malicious enemy defend
me. In the hour of my death call me. And bid me come to
Thee, that with Thy Saints I may praise Thee forever and
ever.
Amen.
May the blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, and all the
saints, pray for me to our Lord, that I may be preserved
this night from sin and all evils.
Amen.
End by making
the sign of the Cross:
In the name of the Father, and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
