Rosary

The Joyful Mysteries may be said on Mondays and Thursdays;
The Sorrowful Mysteries
on Tuesdays and Fridays;
The Glorious Mysteries
on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Sunday
traditionally rotated based on the liturgical season
(e.g.,
Joyful during Advent/Christmas, Sorrowful in Lent, Glorious the rest of the year).
...But above all do not be bound by unnecessary
rules in using the Rosary.

Christians have been utilizing prayer beads since the earliest centuries of the faith.
Variations of the Rosary are acknowledged from as far back as the ninth century.
The Rosary predates the Protestant Reformation; thus it is our shared inheritance.

John 17:20&21 [Jesus said] "I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who
will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you
and I are one — as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that
the world will believe you sent me." (New Living Translation)

a Hail Mary said once on each of the next three beads;
the Glory Be said on
the piece of chain (or rope) immediately following

(2) Each day the Prayer consists of five decades
said while considering the appropriate Mystery:
(the first Mystery is said on the first group of beads;
the second Mystery on the second group, and so on.)
*Announce the Mystery on the large Our Father bead and think about its spiritual fruits.
A decade consists of the The Our Father said on the large bead,
the Hail Mary said on each of the ten following small beads,
the Glory Be and O my Jesus said on
the piece of chain (or rope) immediately following
the tenth small bead

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

Sign Of The Cross:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Apostles' Creed:
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day He rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen.

The Our Father:
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy Will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

The Hail Mary:
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

The Glory Be:
Glory be to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be.
World without end,
Amen.

O my Jesus:
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy.

Hail, Holy Queen:
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this our exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Rosary Closing Prayer:
O God, whose only-begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel:
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Memorare:
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Sign Of The Cross:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Mary The Ark of God

The Contents:
The original ark held the Ten Commandments (the Word of God in stone), a jar of manna, and Aaron's priestly staff. Mary's womb held Jesus, who is the Living Word of God, the Bread of Life, and the Eternal High Priest.

The Visit to Judea:
In 2 Samuel 6, King David travels to the hill country of Judea to bring the Ark, and leaps before it. In Luke 1, Mary travels to the hill country of Judea to visit Elizabeth, and John the Baptist leaps in Elizabeth's womb.

The Stay Duration:
The old Ark stayed at the house of Obed-edom for three months, and Mary stayed with Elizabeth for three months.

The Reactions:
David cried out in awe before the Ark ("How can the ark of the Lord come to me?"), and Elizabeth similarly cried out before Mary ("Why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?").

Book of Revelation:
Revelation 11:19 mentions the vision of God's temple opening and the Ark of the Covenant appearing, immediately followed in Revelation 12:1 by the vision of the woman clothed with the sun who gives birth to the Messiah.
